Acceptance
Policy

All items must be in "Ready-to-Sell" condition. We only take clothes that
are in-season (see dates below), in-style (1-2 yrs. old), freshly
laundered, wrinkle free, odor free, and with all snaps, buttons and zippers closed. Failure to comply with ready-to-sell conditions could
reduce your commissions.

Brand
name items will sell the best, and all items must be in
excellent condition. We make our selections based on our
customers’ preferences, so we may not take everything
you bring in.

You
may drop off items once a month; there is a limit of 25
clothing items per visit.

Furniture
and gear must be clean, odor free, in good working order (with fresh batteries where needed),
and have all original parts (instructions are nice, but not
necessary), and
must meet current Government Safety Standards

We only accept car seats or travel systems NIB (New in Box); we do not accept cribs more than 10 yrs. old.
Seasonal Clothing Intake Dates
October & November: Winter weight clothes (long-sleeved tops
and dresses, pants, jeans, cords, sweaters, heavy weight
coats, snow wear and Christmas items)
January
- March: Spring weight clothes (short-sleeved tops and
dresses, shorts and Easter items)
April
- June: Summer weight clothes (swimwear, sundresses,
shorts, tanks, sandals)
August
& September: Fall/Back-to-School Medium weight clothes
(long-sleeves, pants, jeans, lightweight jackets, rainwear
and Halloween items)
Consignment Period, Mark Downs & Payments
All items will be kept on the floor for 3 months. The last
two weeks are the mark down phase where items are sold at
30% off for one week, and 50% off for the final week. Additional
mark downs and sales can occur at any time and are at the
discretion of Buttons ‘n Bows. Commissions are paid
at 40% of the final selling price on clothing items, and 50%
on non-clothing items. You can pick up one check per month,
(for $10 or more) anytime after the 5th day of eachmonth.
Any time during the month you can use any amount in your account
for in store credit.
